Dallas County Residents: FEMA safe room and tornado shelter grant money is pending approval by the State of Texas. We don't have any control over the timing, but we do keep in contact with local, State and Federal agencies. When funds are approved we will post the contact information here.

Are You Prepared for a Tornado or Severe Storm?
In an average year, 800 tornadoes are reported nationwide. Through September, 2011, 1,213 tornadoes have been confirmed and have resulted in 546 deaths. 118 of the deaths were residents of mobile or manufactured homes and 204 were standard home structures. (thorntonweather.com).
Thirteen years ago we began selling the highest quality tornado and storm shelters available.
